Little late getting this review done but the trip was so great I must at least do a short review. The itinerary is perfect! San Juan is a quaint lil town with beautiful architecture and stunning to view the forts and stone walls from your balcony on a cruise ship as your coming or going into port. Boarding is easy and pretty quick and they don't seem to check your bags to much. A CVS is right down the street from the port to buy your water and whatever else you might need. Keep in mind it is a couple of blocks from the port and what you buy you must carry but worth stocking up to save $$ on your cruise. The ship is an older ship but very well taken care of. Crew is great and we always have a great time onboard. The entertainment was ok and the dancers were very good. Food is getting worse as the years roll on but you will not starve onboard because you have plenty of food to choose from.
This itinerary has only one sea day and how fabulous to wake up in a different port of call every morning. We loved St Lucia! We did a tour with Costol Tours and Fat Man was our guide. Very good deal for the money (honestly they don't charge enough for everything you get on this tour.) They are not thru carnival but no worries because if you read your reviews they are excellent and they always get you back to the ship on time.
St Maarten is BEAUTIFUL. We went to Maho beach and it is a must do. This is where the airport that is right on the beach! Yep, those huge planes look like they are about to land on your head. If you want to get blasted by the engines on the planes just stand on the fence and be prepared to be blown away!! Great lil bar right on the beach that list the flight times of the planes also. No tour we just snabbed up a cab and headed out. This island has amazing water and the color is breathtaking.
Room was clean and a typical balcony room. This ship is an older ship and bathrooms could stand to be remodeled.
