This was our 2nd cruise with Carnival, and our third overall. We chose this cruise due to the itinerary, which was outstanding.

Our cabin Steward was Rahmat, and he did a nice job of taking care of us. I had a cooler in the room, and he made sure to top it off with ice when it was there. He wasn't around much, but he was always there when you needed him. Our cabin itself was fine. Nothing special. We are active people, so we don't spend much time in our cabin. Not the type to sip wine or coffee on the balcony and read the morning paper. Seems like a waste of money to me, but hey....

Embarkation in San Juan was simple. We arrived a day early, so we were at port before many travelers. Our room was ready when we arrived, so we dropped our stuff and headed out to explore the ship.
