This was my third cruise and third Cruise line having sailed the NCL Pearl and HAL Zaandam. Although I read countless reviews both good and bad, I prefer to judge for myself. This reason is why I plan to try various cruise lines before picking a favorite. The only reason I have cruised so far has been with groups where the choice of line wasn't up to me but rather the groups arrangement.

We, my teen daughter, Sister and her 2 teen sons and 25 people from our local Zumba fitness club headed off to Alaska on August 17th with ports of Icy Strait, Juneau and Ketchikan, sailing the Hubbard Glacier and starting and ending in Vancouver BC

Living in Victoria, we opted to travel by BC Ferries and public transit. We caught the 7am ferry arriving at Canada Place shortly after 10 am. We dropped off our luggage and proceeded through the embarkment process and waited 20 minutes in the waiting area until the ship was ready to board at 11am. We were first in line and it was there we met 2 lovely couples from Richmond Virginia. By 11:10 am we were already in the buffet with no line ups and there were no crowds, just plenty of seating and friendly crew. After lunch we explored the spa- again no crowds as they were still boarding-then lounged by the pool until our cabins were ready at 1pm.

Inside Stateroom

Cabin 11

A handy location near the Fun Factory. door opens to Center of room with bathrooms to the left beds to right. Makes it appear larger. One flight up is the main diningroom
