Being a seasoned cruiser and never having gone to Europe, we selected this Mediterranean Cruise, because of its ports and the dates coincided with our 30th Anniversary.
Embarkation was swift and easy we were in our stateroom by 11:50, the Barcelona port is easy to get around.
The Regal princess is nothing new, except the ship, if you have been on any Princess ship before, you have been on the Regal. Everything is the same,(nothing to see here).
Food : best way to describe the food is ordinary, it often lacked taste and imagination.
Shows: most if not all shows were 30 minutes long????
Bravo and the Beatle Maniacs were the only shows worth seeing.
Ports. we elected to book all our our tours privately,we hooked up with people on the cruisecritic boards.it was a huge success, had a great time, saw alot and saved $$.
Beware of Princess selling transfers we paid 20.00 for transfers at Mykonos, and when we got off our ship we saw a boat offering rides to the shore for 2 euros p/p each way.
Dont choose the Regal Princess because the boat is new, choose this ship because of the ports.
Service was excellent, ALL of the waiters and room stewards were great!!!
