My husband and I are both 30 and this was our fourth cruise. We had a great time on the Carnival Liberty. After a horrible cruise on the Sunshine in January and a not so great one of the Paradise in May I was a little skeptical to cruise with Carnival again but I loved this itinerary and the price. Every staff member we encountered was polite and friendly.
We are not big on the shows so I can't comment very much on the entertainment besides the comedy shows. They were great, just wish they had them every night. The ship never felt very crowded and there were not many children on board. Our room steward and wait staff were amazing, We loved the Sea Day Brunch we never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table and the last 2 sea days the brunch was very crowded. We were worried about the new menus but they have tweaked them since I saw them posted online last and we were satisfied with them. We like the addition of a few new items to try and they still have all of our old favorites.
The ports of call were great, especially St. Maarten. My husband enjoyed the EA sports bar and we enjoyed the adults only pool and serenity area. The ship was very clean. Overall we had a great time and it was our favorite cruise yet. We liked it so much we are going on another one in January on the Liberty.
Cabin was small and cozy but fine for two people. Plenty of closet space. This was the first time trying an interior room and we rather enjoyed it. We like to cruise often and we can cruise more if we go with a cheaper interior cabin.
