This is about my 15th cruise 5 th with Celebrity and the pros far far outweigh the cons.

We started with a pre day in Venice, staying at the Hilton Molino Stucky, nice hotel off the beaten path, and nice to come home to, as Venice was very crowded. I love Venice and have been there many times, this time seemed so so busy and very very expensive to get around. I did book private transportation which were expensive but very accomodating and always where they were suppose to be. We used Venicedriver.com and dealt with Svetlana prior to our trip. She always responded quickly and service was excellent but again it is very expensive to get around Venice. The public transport is ever present however they are very crowded and people have luggage and not a lot of places to sit so we opted for private transport worked out well for us.

We did Venice on our own as we have been here before. Our traveling companions had not. So, we did get up very early to get them into all the attractions and it worked out fine. Just remeber to go early or you will wait for hours to get in. St. Marks square was also very very busy and expensive. My suggestion is to go off the beaten paths you find wonderful restaurants and little shops. Getting lost is such fun in Venice.
