This cruise was very good overall. Embarking in Vancouver was a DISASTER (It took us 3 hours) but that was more the Port of Vancouver's fault than RCL. Our room was as expected... nothing more nothing less. Food in the main dining room was not as good as normal. I'm not sure anybody at out table was wowed with more than 1 meal in the 11 we received. Oddly enough, though, food in the windjammer was better than normal. We always eat breakfasts up there, and are usually quite tired of the food up there within a week. This time, that didn't happen. Although the fare up there was typical, the quality of it was better. We did try Chops once... well worth it! The evening entertainment on this sailing was quite good. The cruise director and staff were the least friendly/charismatic we have seen, but the captain was the most friendly we have seen! There was a little less in daytime activities during the 5 sea days than I would have expected. Regarding the ship itself.... Rhapsody isn't the biggest and newest, but she is quite clean and has been upgraded recently.

All in all, the cruise was good, and I would not hesitate to do it again.

Cabin Review

Cabin Panoramic Ocean View

Very nice for an ocean view room. The window was as wide as a balcony would have been. The location is very convenient... right at midship. Noise was not a problem, as there were large doors that closed off the hallway.
