First let me say we don't normally like large ships - this is not our first cruise with Princess. But the Grand Princess was overall a positive experience despite it's size. All the staff that we interacted with - barring the front desk staff in the last couple of days (more about that later) were great.

We stayed in a mini suite towards the front starboard section. Our steward was attentive and quickly caught on that we liked the room done up early - he never failed us.

We had purchased the 'all inclusive' beverage package. My husband had some concerns that this would negatively impact the service that we had always enjoyed on Princess but to the contrary. Service, particularly in the bar area near the coffee shop, was great. Fast, friendly but not rushed. Servers were relaxed and willing to chat if they had the time.

Cabin AA

A bit more forward than we usually book but couldn't argue with the price!
