We booked our cruise on the Carnival Elation at the last minute for Spring break 2011. We drove to the port of Mobile and prepared to board the ship. We booked a "funsaver" rate that they assign your room, NEVER do that!!!!!

The lines were extremely long to check in and board the ship. It was about two hours waiting in long lines. When we finally got on the boat, the buffet was so crowded, there wasn't anywhere to sit!!

Our room, E299 was very tiny and cramped for four people. There was two "bunks" that the kids slept on. It was near a maintenance closet, there was loud banging at all hours of the night.
