Sail Date: Feb 2007

We sailed on the Grand (for the 3rd time) on February 3, 2007 from Galveston Texas.

Our Cabin was a balcony on the Lido deck at the front of the ship. We actually have been in this room before too. Though the Grand was dry docked for maintenance recently, it did have a bit of wear to her. The carpet in front of the bath room would flap like a bad toupee in the wind everytime the cabin door was opened and the slider to the balcony was open. We thought it pretty funny.

The Entertainment was average. The Cruise Director talked so fast that we wondered if he was on "something". We were spoiled years ago to be on the Grand when they had award winning entertainment. The comedian, Rollin Jay Moore, was hysterical! The "big" shows were just "OK". We really dont expect fabulous shows though.
