My husband and I have taken 62 cruises on several cruise lines and are diamond on Royal Caribbean. I had a great cruise on the Allure of the Seas in April 2014 so we decided to try the Oasis of the Seas. We waited a long time to try the Oasis class ships because we thought that they were too big. After we learned how to find places on the ship and how everything worked, we didn't have any problems. My first main complaint is that I finally scheduled a Meet and Mingle after signing up a few years ago with cruise critic; and even though I received 2 confirmations, I was not notified when it was being held so I missed it. When I complained to guest services they said that they have nothing to do with Meet and Mingle and that the group coordinator handled it. After a second visit to guest services, I finally got the name of the lady that organizes the parties. Her name is Marina, and she blamed it on housekeeping for not delivering the invitation. She didn't seem very apologetic and wasn't going to contact me. I had to go to her in person. She gave me two certificates for things on the ship as compensation.

My second complaint is that events were put on the schedule; and when we went there, a private function was being held. This happened twice at dazzles. We never got to go dancing there. In the gym we were going to try the yoga on the helipad class which did not have a charge listed in the program. After waiting around and signing up, the instructor announced that there we a $12 charge.

We didn't like the 8:30 dining which they said they couldn't change. We have always had early dining
