Thinking about a long weekend getaway? Norwegian Sky is a wonderful choice. We loved the cruise line and we had a balcony cabin right near the pool so it was perfect! We loved the drink packages, the Atlantis Water Park, the island (Great Stirrup Cay) was pure bliss!! As the first time cruising since I was a teenager, many things have changed about cruising. Highest marks goes to the teen club, for 13-17 year-olds. The coordinators were awesome and kept the kids busy running around the ship doing scavenger hunts, games etc. The air conditioner broke in our room one of the evenings and they fixed it right away. Did not have any trouble with people smoking on the balconies or bad food, as reviews I read prior to going had me on the look-out for. I thought almost everything was top-notch,

The main areas they need to improve on NCL Norwegian Sky is communication about the photos that they take of you everywhere you go! No one ever told me where to go to see the photos or purchase them, and the next thing we know we are off the ship with no way to purchase or see them. I also had no idea what shows were going on, I kept checking my ncl.com and it did not list entertainment choices to reserve. I think due to the excursions, we were happy with early turn-in just when the ship was ramping up to party. The White-Hot Party was a highlight of the cruise, and something that everyone went to! Beware of the Spa trying to sell sell sell their spa toiletries. One of the BEST vacations ever! Just wish we could buy those photos...
