My wife and I have been on several lines, all with medium to large ships. This was the first time on a smaller ship. First the highlights--except for one stop, this was a terrific schedule. ( the disappointing stop could have been excellent if the cruise line had been more open about what excursions MUST be taken. Second--the staff of the ship, from room porter to dining room folks to purser and junior officers were terrific, friendly, immediately helpful and worthy of a high priced cruise. I commend them all.

The cabin was large, comfortable, but in no way "new." in fact the former Seabourne ship was commissioned in 1989 and much of the ship looked like it! Most of the public spaces were good, if not excellent. The musical entertainment was very weak, although lovely people. I do agree with many other reviewers that the food was very good, and the staff extremely accommodating for special requests.

Another very good service was fresh water in each cabin several times a day. I also encourage people to use the laundry service. It was inexpensive and could easily make your packing less cumbersome.
