We recently went on a 13 night cruise around the Canary Islands aboard the Azura. However I am afraid we are not satisfied with the level of service we received from P&O as a whole.

Firstly we felt that the Breakfast / Lunchtime area in the Venezia restaurant was reminiscent of a staff canteen You collected your tray at one end of the counter and then were expected to follow the buffet bar from one end to the other collecting your food as you went. The problem was the area was to small for the amount of people trying to use it.The people in front of you were rushing as they felt under pressure to hurry through which in turn put you under pressure causing you to rush and so it went on down the line When you did finally emerge from the chaos to the seating area you were very lucky to find a table and mostly when you did you had to share with strangers which was not a problem for us but not everybody appreciated company and some went out of their way to show it

Secondly there was the Gym scenario no matter how often I tried I could not get on any of the equipment I wanted to use The gym did not open until 8.00 When I did try to use it at this time there were large queues I subsequently returned on several occasions throughout the day only to find there were seminars in progress which meant half the the gym was closed due to the noise of the machines This situation was ridiculous surely they could have found another room rather than the main floor area at the centre of the gym.
