I sailed with my sister & brother-in-law doing the Escape to the Med itinerary. I didn't know quite what to expect, with it being my first cruise, & I was a little nervous. I can honestly say that the whole time from the moment we embarked until we left the ship was fantastic!

The embarkation itself went very smoothly, & we were in our cabins in no time. The food was lovely - plenty of choice & lots of it! The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for them & they were so friendly and polite I settled in straight away. The drinks are as good as any other place that does A.I. In fact, I think there may have been more choice than some. Cabins are adequate, well you're not in them most of the time are you? Although dated they are comfortable. The entertainment was really good. Some of the shows were fantastic, & Ross does such a great job. What a character!

Loved the excursions too, we had some great guides in Pompeii (Barbara made it really interesting & gave us a giggle or two) & in Rome (Norman was very knowledgeable) we saw so much in such a short time! Over all I found it to be so much fun, with so much going on, with friendly staff & happy passengers that I have already booked again for next year! Loved everything!

Cabin Review

Basic, but adequate. Could do with a new mattress, but fairly comfortable. Just big enough.
