It's hard to know where to start, so I will bullet point:

Worn out old ship. In need of totally updating. Our cabin: Chipped furniture. Ugly old sofa (needed to be put into a skip). Battered, useless television. Broken dressing table mirror. Old yellowing telephones. Old hair dryer. Rubbish old deck furniture (not luxury). Disgusting bathroom in need of gutting. Chipped coat hangers. Pathetic decor. No welcome gift, flower, chocolate, fruit in cabin on arrival. Mini bar: empty, we had to chase up our preorder several times. An obvious attempt by Silversea to duck out of it. Everyone had the same problem.

The bathroom is not prestocked with luxury products, instead the 'butler' comes round with a scratched tray and you select a few shampoos and soaps. The bottles look as though they have been refilled by the overworked staff. Obviously, a Silversea cost cutting exercise.
