My wife and I spent 10 weeks in Europe and did 4 cruises, the MSC Fantasia out of Venice on the 27th April was the first. The destinations were good, but we should have heeded the term "clash of cultures". We were joined by many school children who were given the run of the ship and had little respect for anyone or anything. We watched as children as young as 4 or 5 climbed onto food counters, walked along and grabbed some food, in view of parents and crew. We saw food being handled and then put back. Bit off putting.

Cleaning was just acceptable, embarking and disembarking was a disaster. Our cabin was ok, the kids left alone went quiet at about 1130pm until 6.30am. No one wanted to know about it. Our mistake, but overall we got the "budget" cruise we paid for. I will review MSC Opera, we will not travel with this company again, we have filled in the cruise sheet and have written to MSC.
