This was our first cruise and didn't know what to expect. Our whole family agrees that Carnival was awesome. This was the most stress free holiday we have had. You can be as busy as you want or just relax and enjoy. We took our 2 teenage daughters and we all felt very safe.

The staff was remarkable, Kevin and the crew in housekeeping always smiling and asking how our day was. Iggy, Djoko, and Jenn kept us laughing and well fed at suppers. We got some great footage of the hilarious entertainment with the wait staff after our meals, they had the room cheering and clapping. Ram, Tawra, and crew were great at the art auctions. On the deck the wait staff were always around, but not pushy. The only poor service I got was in the cigar lounge, twice, and the lobby lounge catered to the adults and ignored the kids, so we didn't go back there as there are other options.

Food quality for the most part was fair, breakfast didn't change for the whole week at the buffets so we went to the menu breakfast for a change. You definitely won't go hungry. The steak didn't compare the good old Alberta beef, so we ordered different choices and enjoyed the rest. Especially the desserts. Excursions- we just did island tours and were happy with them. We were disappointed the Puerto Rico tour was mostly in the dark as we arrived at suppertime. Of course the girls enjoyed all the shopping at the different islands.
