We had a call to offer us a free cruise. However, I know that there is nothing in this world for free so I checked the reviews and declined the offer. A few months later, we decided to do a three day cruise with Royal Caribbean but we waited to long and they were all booked up. I then found a two day cruise with Celebration, I did not connect in my mind that this was the ship with all the bad reviews. After booking it I checked reviews and was sick to my stomach. We decided to go anyways. We were determined to have a good time. We laughed and called it the Ghetto Cruise. I just want to ask all the negative people out there, What ship were you on? There is no way that you were on the same cruise as us. We had a blast, The music and shows were fantastic. We partied all night, slept on the beach the next day and partied all night coming home. The only negative thing I came across was a bad cup of coffee on the top deck the last morning. I took a sip and said yuk and there a waiter near by heard me and they dumped the coffee and made new. Within a couple minutes a waiter brought me a cup from the second deck. I was so impressed with this cruise. The room was small, my wife slept on the top bunk and I on the bottom. The bed was very comfortable. The Food was great, the staff was A+. Everything was very organized and the staff always took care of everything. I use a c pap machine and I told them and within less than a min there was a guy at the cabin with a plug for me. The announced where to meet for your excursions, they escorted you off the ship and right to the correct bus. The made sure you know everything that you needed to know. Very very organized. We got on the ship at noon and went to the Rio for lunch, played shuffle board on the top deck with other cruisers, went to a fancy dinner that we made reservations for, (free I might add) Out of this world. The salad was great the soup was beyond great and the meal was good (average) nothing to complain about. We did not go to the places that charge, we did not order drinks, they had free juices and water and coffee every place you went. Yes they try to up sell you but there was no pressure, you just say no thank you. They then place a napkin on your table and no one bothers you again.

My wife and I spent $618 total for the weekend and we spent Friday night at the Double-tree in Palm bay and went to see Billy Joel tribute band around the corner. This was suggested by the cruise line and we got a discount at the hotel by saying we were sent by Celebration Cruises. We also went to a bar after the show and had a beer and nachos. That was part of the $618. We planned on $1000. and just decided to have fun and we did. Please don't listen to the negativity. Go in knowing it is not free and have fun. I can't wait for another phone call offering me a free cruise. Oh and by the way, if you book through the cruise line you don't pay the fuel surcharge. Happy sailing!

Cabin Review

Cabin 7

Cabin was small but very clean and was perfect. All we did was sleep for a few hours in it. Bed was comfortable. The shower was tiny but better than a camper shower, Great water pressure.
