This is our 8th cruise, the 6th with Royal Caribbean, 4th on the Explorer of the Seas. We traveled with a group of 8, 4 cabins. Our ages ranged from 19 to 75.

Getting on the cruise was a nightmare. When we reached the cruise port at Bayonne, we waited 1 hour in a line of traffic to drop off our suitcases. Only half of the car ports were open due to a lack of staffing. Then another 20-30 minutes to park because only one line to the parking lot was open.

Getting off of the ship was worse. We and about 1000 other cruisers were stuck in an extremely packed line for up to 2 hours. People were bickering and getting frustrated. Worse cruise disembarkation ever.
