A little about us. This was our 15th cruise but our first with NCL. We are both early 50's.

We flew from Atlanta to Miami the day before, stayed at the Marriott Courtyard downtown and took their shuttle to the port the next day. $5 per person can't be beat. Hotel was fine, typical Courtyard. We left the hotel at 11:15, at the port by 11:30 and on the ship by 11:50. We had a quick lunch at the buffet and our room was ready by 1:15 and our luggage arrived about 2:30. Returning we walked off at 8:15 and were at the airport by 9:00am. Customs was super quick and despite us going over our allowance we were not asked to pay anything! The agent just said "have a nice day" and smiled and waved us on.

We had balcony cabin 8778. The location was perfect. Super quick to get anywhere. The cabin itself however was our least favorite of any other line. No drawers or upper shelves in the desk area made it very challenging for us to stay organized. It was hard to fine a "home" for everything. But we certainly managed just fine. Closet was adequate. Bathroom was great - plenty of space and shelves and the shower doors are great, no more clingy shower curtains! We never met our cabin steward. We ran into him once in the room and he never spoke to us. He made our bed and changed towels and emptied trash daily so I was perfectly happy however hubby was disappointed he made no effort to engage. No biggie for me.

Cabin Review

LOVED the location of this cabin. Easy access to everything.
