I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise - everything about it! The bedroom was spacious with a king-sized bed, dresser, full-sized bathroom, and balcony. The meals were first class, and I enjoyed being able to make selections from various choices offered. The staff were amazing when handling all things with ease and efficiency. The cocktail hour was one of my favorite times of the day.

The shore excursions were very well organized and included many stops - a few of my favorites being Clayton, N.Y., Niagara Falls, Holland, Michigan, and Mackinac Island. Holland with its Dutch influences complete with an old windmill and fabulous gardens along with the dancers in wooden shoes totally charmed me. I would love to be there during the tulip festival. Our buffet at the old Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island and tour of the area via horse and buggy was great fun! I loved viewing the many old Victorian Homes on the island.

I also want to compliment Rae Perkins, the historian extraordinaire. Her lectures and talks about the locks and Great Lakes were very enjoyable and informative.
