In general we had an enjoyable trip. The end of April seemed to be a great time to cruise as the weather was fantastic. Check in went smoothly and we had access to our cabin right after a quick trip to the lunch buffet. We did not participate in any of the on-board activities as we are more the kick back and enjoy the sun type, but did enjoy the pool & spa areas. Took advantage of the gym, the view from the tread mills is breathtaking. Purchased the 1/2 hour couples' massage in the Aurea spa which gave us access to the steam and sauna for the entire week; well worth the price.

We were assigned to the Villa Rossa for our evening meals. It was a bit confusing to find the restaurant during the first 2 days and had to back track a few times, but was all in good fun. We were assigned to a table of 6; excellent company, good food, an attentive wait staff. Did not use the other dining restaurants, as did not want to add extra costs to our trip.

We had booked one of the Allegressimo packages and glad we did; no hassle at the bars or dining room and tips for the drinks were included.

Cabin Review

Room was a bit tight, but did enjoy the wonderful balcony. the washroom had a full bath...nice surprise. The steward saw to our every need; a thoughtful touch, he asked us our native tongue and delivered our daily newsletter in the language of our choice.
