City of Lights Cruise

Sail Date: May 2014
Destination: Europe - River Cruise
Embarkation: Paris
Our first time cruise with Viking on the Longboat Odin was absolutely spectacular and we so enjoyed the cruise that we hated to disembark the ship. Our cruise began with two nights in Paris, seven nights on the ship and one night in Prague. We wish the cruise had been 10-12 nights because we loved the ship so very much. The decor was so tasteful and soothing. The rooms, while small as always on river cruises, were so beautifully and efficiently arranged that we had plenty of space. The room was divine and the service was unparalleled. The entire operation, including excursions, etc. was so smoothly operated and we loved the intimacy of the 180 passenger trip. We cannot wait for another Viking cruise, although we are trying Tauck as well. Less

Cabin review: Veranda B

Loved the room. Veranda B was just perfect. I think Veranda A would have been one deck up, but we did not feel the necessity of being in a higher deck. We would always, however, want a veranda.
