Returned yesterday from our cruise.  I had decided to give up and miss cruising this year due to my sisters financial status. She just recently went through a devastating divorce. The cruise was exactly what she needed. This was our fourth cruise, second on the Fascination. We had a wonderful time. The crew was amazing. After 4 cruises this is our favorite ship. You picked the best room location, it was perfect! I wanted the Murphy bed for our baby sister, rather than a roll away. It was all arranged perfectly. Our Steward was so kind and called us by name every time he saw us. The photographers were entertaining, our dining room service was the best. We were not impressed with the dinners, but the service from the staff more than made up for the food. Had a wonderful time.

One thing I might mention is the transportation. We booked through the cruise line and was assured with our return flight being 11:15 AM their would not be a problem. When discussing the need for early departure with customer service on the ship, we were told we would not make our flight by taking our prepaid shuttle service. We lost $60 from the prepaid shuttle for our transportation, and an additional $40 because we had to take a taxi to make our flight. I realized their was no refund since the shuttle service is a private company, but I feel some form of compensation should have been given. I would not have booked and prepaid for the service if I would have been told we would not make our return flight. If we would have missed our flight we would not have been able to return till Wednesday at a great expense. Our last night on the ship was very stressful trying to figure out a way to get home to Ohio without all the added expense, I was misinformed by the Cruise representative at the time of booking the transportation. This cost us extra money and we missed an entire evening of our vacation due to the stress of not knowing if we would get home.
