Before we get onto the ship, we were standing outside (in the heat) for over an hour due to an alleged "drill". Never told what the "drill" related to, but the air conditioned area inside was empty.

Ultimately reach our cabin room 8426. DO NOT EVER go near there. Room was directly underneath the seating area for the 24-hour pizza. Chairs scrapped across the wooden deck above us at all hours of the day and night. Carnival refused to rectify the situation in a fair manner. They said all other rooms that accommodate four were unavailable. A day later they offered a small interior cabin for one of us to use to sleep, while the children and the other had no sleep due to the continuous noise. They also refused to rope off a small area of the deck above our room - even at 4 a.m.

The second room was dirty and had blood on the wall - which went unnoticed by me and their staff for 3 days, until I brought it to their attention. Sheets and blankets never appeared to be clean. Random hairs around the cabin from prior guests. Read more
