I am now back from my Msc Fantasia cruise to the Eastern Med in May & am happy to file this review..

Would I book with MSC again - yes. I did have some initial concerns before booking after reading several reviews but these were unfounded. I can confess I am not a cruise snob & I'm not the sort to look for things to complain about.. My only real negative is the smoking in the casino filtered up to the bar above. I felt sorry for the girl trying to sing as she was struggling & had to stop & have water. It's designed also so you pretty much need to walk through the casino to get to the show lounge. - I just held my breath as I walked through.

The ship is very beautiful & clean & the bed was super comfy( important to me!!) yes it's a big ship & the pool areas & sunlounges do get busy which is where I was glad to have a balcony in our cabin on occasions. But having said that there were times where you woud think ... Where is everybody. Again, I was worried I would have a neighbour smoking in the cabin next door but we were lucky. They say no smoking on the balcony but not in the room. So it's the luck of the drawer if the person in the cabin before you has been smoking. Read more
