I find it hard to believe that I was on the same cruise as other reviewers on this site because of the vast range of opinions, but I suppose everyone wants something different from their cruise experience .

I found the embarkation in Venice to run relatively smoothly and yes, we were on quite quickly and happily eating at the buffet around 2pm and luggage did get to our room in a timely manner. I did not see our cabin staff for the entire cruise, but room was always clean and towels were replenished sometimes twice a day.

Meals at the buffet were chaotic with people pushing and shoving like it was their last meal! There was always plenty of food so this amazed me. In general, in most cases the staff were not helpful if asked a question to the point of being rude on a couple of occasions. The Restaurant at night was a bit more sedate but service was extremely slow.
