I read a lot of rave reviews about the Norwegian Getaway before my cruise with a group of friends and I have to say... they were right!

We boarded the ship very fast and without any hassles. It was super easy! This is our 4 cruise with Norwegian and the thing that impressed me most about boarding the ship is that they didn't hound you with offers for dining or drinks or the casino. As you explored the ship, you would find tables offering specials, but it wasn't "in your face" like it was on other NCL ships. Very refreshing!

The Getaway is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL. We were in a balcony on the 11th floor. Some reviews said the room and balcony seemed small, but we thought it was a perfect size for 2 people. Honestly, you spend most of your time outside the room anyway. Read more
