The weather was terrible. Rain and cool each day. Misty all along the coast. Could not see many mountains. Thought July would have been better.
The Volendam is well maintained but showing some age. Would not worry about the age. Understand it will be refurbished in Dec 2014.
The food was better than expected. We ate regularly in the Rotterdam. Food was excellent and the service good. Ate at Pinnacle once and Italian. The service is great but the food is so good in the Rotterdam decided not worth the extra cost.
Cabin Review
Quiet, comfortable room. Lots of storage for all of our clothes. Glad we did interior cabin. Weather so bad no-one used the balcony. All of our time was in lounges and on deck.
