We had booked this cruise last minute as a much needed break after a difficult personal time. We wanted to leave from Southampton but weren't concerned about the itinerary. We did find Azura a big ship and I never quite mastered the geography but the maps and the details by the very slow lifts. We enjoyed the food and thought there was plenty of choice ( we were on second sitting in the Peninsular restauraunt) eating breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea in the buffet. I thought the portions were a good size. The waiting staff were very helpful and the wine waitress was very good. Some of the staff in the bars were efficient though not friendly but not rude. We ennjoyed the variety of entertainment on offer except one comedian who kept saying that he was finding it difficult to be funny when he wasn't allowed to be blue. Seating in the Playhouse was always available but for the most popular shows it is a good idea to be 10 minutes early. Seating in the bars could be more problematic. We enjoyed the quizzes even though we never won! We only booked one trip to see a glacier and some of the Fjord landscape. The trip was very enjoyable due to our guide and despite the disorganised start. We walked round the other resorts and found the information supplied by P&O very helpful. It was also very useful that English was spoken so readily and information in English available in the museums. We have had a relaxing time felt looked after and have eaten and drunk well. Just what we wanted. I would be very happy to travel on Azura again - I had been concerned about travelling in the summer holidays but found the childen on board to be well behaved and happily entertained by the various kids clubs.

Cabin Review

Cabin was clean and tidy and lots of storage space. Bathroom facilities were good and no problems with the plumbing. This was our first time in an inside cabin but the only time I missed not having a window was first thing in the morning.
