14 Day Celtic Explorer

Sail Date: July 2014
Destination: Europe - British Isles & Western
Embarkation: Amsterdam
We embarked at the Ijmuiden port, it is a little out of the way. We booked our transfers privately and this worked very well and not expensive, we were a group of 8.

Embarkation worked well and our luggage was delivered in a timely fashion.

We found the food to be very good. The only complaint we had was at lunch. We like to order and sit in the dining room. They closed the dining room for lunch most days and the buffet was the only dining available.

Entertainment was more than acceptable, we enjoyed the shows plus the piano player, Don, in the crows nest.

We visited 10 ports. Some were tendered while others we docked. No problems coming ashore.

Our waiters at diner were great and they treated us so very well.

We found the condition of the ship to very good & in good working order.

Disembarkation went very quickly & well organized.

In summary we would sail on this ship again. The crew could not do enough More for you and made it a pleasure to be aboard the Prinsendam. Less
