Traveled with children

There were 7 in our party, 5 adults and two kids. We drove to NYC pier from Phila, parked our car on the roof ($320 for 8 days) and checked in. We are platinum status on CCL and got processed and were eating lunch by noon. The ship is decorated beautifully. We put out stuff in our rooms on decks 8 and 1 and went out to explore. Deck 5 was the promenade and the only way to get from front to back. Deck 3 & 4 have dining rooms on them. The slide was the hit for the 8yr old. The pools were crowded on sea days.

We went to Grand Turk where we enjoyed Margaritaville. Then we went to Half Moon Cay and rented cabana # 8. Excellent choice, near bathrooms and lifeguard. The best beach day ever. The water was inviting and cooling. It was a Hot day. Nassau was the third port of call. We didn't get off the ship, stayed on to kidsit grandkids while three adults went into town and had a good time at Senior Frogs.

We had early dinner and had a great waitstaff, Jorge and co. I had ordered a birthday cake from the bon voyage dept and had it delivered to our table the first nite to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The weather was wonderful, a few times it rained and the cover went over the pool. The 13yr old loved the camp and was there quite a bit, the 8yr old only went once, opting for the pool and slide.
