We decided to go on this cruise when we were told by Carnival that we had a free cruise due to being Casino Club members. We upgraded our ocean view room to a suite at a discounted rate and decided to go for our Anniversary July 14-18. We went on the Imagination in March with our boys (ages 11-16), and enjoyed the cruise, but the Inspiration was much nicer. We had a wonderful time. This was our 5th cruise with Carnival. It was perfect weather which gave us the opportunity to enjoy the sun.

The food was really, really good in the dining room. We learned not to go to the Lido deck for breakfast. Carnival, please improve the quality of your bacon, eggs, sausages etc..at the buffet on the Lido deck, it is just bad. The omelet bar is pretty good, and for lunch the Panini bar and Mongolian food is really good.

Our suite was on the Verandah deck was V5. It had a very small balcony but it was nice to go out there. I heard that Carnival will not allow smoking on the balconies anymore this fall so we were a little disappointed to hear that. My husband enjoys a cigar on the balcony and they are already not allowed in the casino.

Cabin Review
