They are called "carnival" for a reason....It was run like one! A disorganized, low budget event!!!

I've cruised 5 other times, and I will NEVER EVER travel on a carnival cruise ship ever again!!!! The ship is the most boring ship ever!! I travelled with my "active" parents and our 10 year old granddaughter...........and there is basically NOTHING for them to do on this ship!!!!! Its ALL mid 20 -30 year olds, drinking, cursing, and hanging out partying ALL day and NIGHT!!! YOU can't get bottled water, to save your life!!! Other ships, we got 2 complimentary ones daily. HERE only LITER size available at $4 a bottle and they are huge and way to heavy to carry around!! NO REGULAR SIZE AVAILABLE ANYWHERE ON THE SHIP TO PURCHASE!!!

The pools are SO SMALL that with about 10 people in them, you can't move!!!!!! People grab chairs at 6am and hold them ALL DAY and don't even sit on them, but say "they are being used".. It is almost impossible to get a chair by the pool, (so you can watch your kids swim). The only place you can actually get a chair is up on the high decks, where a pool is no where in sight or near it. The water slide, which advertised to be so great, fast and fun..is anything but that!!! It is SLOW, and it doesn't even throw the kids into the pool...it just ends in a troth of low water. A big let down and something my granddaughter was looking forward to. The "adult only "pool, is anything but that. Kids all over it!! And nothing said about that!! Shows being advertised as 'Adults only"...anything but!!! My dad stayed back with our granddaughter so Mom & I could go to the show..........and I was pissed when there were tons of kids right up front and all throught out the show!! Another BIG let down!! Oh, and DON"T go to the infermery if you feel sick at all!! I went down w my granddaughter just to get her some pepto bismo for a simple tummy ache. Well, first they said they had NONE !! ((On a cruise ship??)) And then they took her temperature, and gave her some other kind of tummy medicine. Then about 2 hours later, we get a NOTE to our stateroom, that she shouldn't leave the cabin for 24 hours, just in case she is getting something, and MUST come down 24 hours later (10:45am next day to be re checked)............ well, thinking this is rediculous..she did take a rest and since she was feeling much better with no issues, we get all dressed ((IT was FORMAL NIGHT)) and go down to the dinning room........where SHE is flagged as being quarantined to her room and the REFUSE to serve her anything, and WE had to leave the dining room immediately!!! Then we called room service, which is the WORSE food ever!!!! You cannot get anything you want delivered, like we were able to in past cruises, but instead ONLY COLD FOOD, COLD sandwiches!!! NOTHING like a burger, Pizza, chicken fingers, etc... Menu was PB&J, Cold Turkey sand., BLT, fruit, cereal, thats about it!!!! The list of BAD things about this ship go on and on! I HIGHLY recommend ROYAL CARIBBEAN, as you are treated ROYALLY in ALL aspects, from the room decor, the service, the room service (with anything available), the dining room food is excellent, and it is a wonderful fun very much to do fun filled ship!!! The food in the dining room is basically a very limited SAME EVERY NIGHT menu....with Lobster tail and Filet Mignon only available 1 evening the entire cruise!!! ((Other ship...every day you could get them!!)) The TVs in the room barely work...the go black or fuzzy constantly!! Only room I ever experienced that DIDN"T have an alarm clock radio there for your usage! The phone is ACROSS the room, and NOT near the bed if you want a wake up call. There is only 2 outlets in the cabin...1 in the room area.((Only 1 spot, not double either!))..the other is in the bathroom, and you have to leave the light on for it to work (in case you're charging something). Bingo is $30 a card!!!  who could afford to play mutil games for mutli days at that rate!!! The food is terrible, the buffet lines are so long its horrible! Actually ALL the food areas, except dining room, have HUGE lines ((Never on other ships)) And NO soda fountains available ANYWHERE for "self service cups" if you buy the beverage package like we did. KIDS and adults have to go to the BAR to get their cups filled!!! Wait in lines, with loud drinking fools, and get service that way. Very very NOT family friendly ship!!! NO food places are OPEN in the eve !!!!! The pizza place makes small personal size pizzas, which they cut in 4 and give you 2 sllces, but people were taking 10-12...and it takes forever to get that as well!!! Really really bad ALL around!!! The only GOOD thing was out Cabin room steward was very nice and friendly to us, and cleaned our place awesome! SHE was the ONLY positive thing about this trip!! I would NEVER advise it, and only wish someone had told me the truth about this ship BEFORE we spent over $6000. to go on it!!!! DON'T GO ON THIS LINE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY!! NOT AT ALL WHAT IT ADVERTISED TO BE!!!! Oh and DO NOT PAY FOR INTERNET ACCESS!!! THAT BARELY WORKS...IT DISCONNECTS YOU CONSTANTLY!!!! WE, ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS, COMPLAINED ABOUT THAT AND ACTUALLY GOT OUR MONEY REFUNDED FOR THAT ISSUE!!!

Cabin Review

Room was mediocre..............ONLY 2 outlets for charging thing (Not even double ones) and 1 one is the bathroom, you MUST keep light on to use!!!! Balcony was OK, but LOUD SMOKERS kept us from enjoying that!! SMOKE EVERYWHERE on this ship!!!!!!!
