Ballroom dancers forget it. Princess Cruises have a pathetic approach

Sail Date: June 2014
Destination: Mediterranean
Embarkation: Southampton
This was my first cruise with this line and it will be my last.

Firstly they dropped the price by £300 approximately three weeks after I had paid in full. Nothing was offered to soften the blow. Moral learned don't book more than 90 days in advance and then any price adjustment will be passed on.

Ballroom dancing, consisted of a non promoted session in the small ballroom, without a host. Just a long playing CD. This session was in the late afternoon. There were three or four very basic ballroom lessons on some mornings. Ladies this ship does not have Dance Hosts.

The Balcony Suite was much smaller than those on the Queen Victoria as was the ballroom and the food, dress code and comfort were not in the same league. My next one will be back with Cunard who can teach this outfit how to treat passengers.

The ship was overcrowded and queuing was the order of the day; for meals, theatre, seats in any of the bars and for services. This ship has too More many passenger for comfort by about 200 staterooms. Less

Cabin review: B227

Too small compared to Cunard. I feel the space was sacrificed to make room for Interior cabins on this deck.
