11 months have passed and I still get nightmares. If you like Butlins you'll LOVE Adventure of the Seas.
4000 crammed on board - great if you like queuing for food!
A really classy experience - some of the finest tattoos seen on a cruise ship anywhere!
The main restaurant was okayish for dinner, but the food was of extremely poor standard. Dishes were given fancy names but this didn't disguise the fact that the fayre was rubbish. The lunch café resembled the canteen at Ford Open Prison and the buffet food was barely edible. Service was not particularly good and it pained me to leave a tip at the end of the cruise.
The shows in the theatre were excellent. Just a shame that you had to take your life in your hands when you were fighting for a decent seat.
Cabin (outside) was great and the guy who looked after it was smashing.
If you're thinking of a cruise and you're thinking Adventure of the Seas, then think again - please!!!
