The scenery and experience of Alaska and the Alaskan waters were awesome! The ship, not so much. Never in my life did I think I would find a more outdated ship that is so young. The decor was nothing short of terrible. In two previous cruises the minute we walked on the ship there was a shock and awe factor, this one you just went well I hope the rest of the ship doesn't look like this. We booked a vista suite so we would have room for our family to sit around a visit, that was a mistake the design left no room to maneuver around in the family area, and the seats/couch looked as if it was about to fall apart. Next step out on our wrap around balcony only to find rust, and flaking paint all over the place. The food was average with the exception of Nick and Nora's. This ship goes in the yard next year, and it won't come a day to soon. If you like murals of Broadway play posters, and Cherubs, then jump on board you will enjoy the decor. Next cruise is on NCL just to see if they can do better. Carnival may have just lost a long time cruiser on their line due to a lack of attention to detail, and extremely poor taste in decor, and food selection.

Cabin Review

The views are good from here, the engine noise non-existent. Some vibration, but overall not bad. The room is crowded for even a small suite.
