I have cruised with Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. This was our first cruise on Norwegian.

We had booked 5 staterooms and chose NCL to allot the room. Big Mistake! Three cabins were in center and one all the way in front and one all the way in back.,So much for NCL attention to detail! It is not as if NCL ran out of rooms. We booked 4 months in advance and in the final week of booking, NCL was giving away rooms at $460 per person.

The food was mediocre at best with repeat menus through the trip. A word about free style dining. UNless you eat at 5 or at 5.30 PM the two dining rooms fill up fast between 7-9. Expect a long wait for dinner unless you prefer to dine in the buffet style. Read more
