Our second cruise with Celebrity the first being on the Century an older ship than the Eclipse but just as nice in many ways, the Eclipse is a superb ship very stylish and never felt crowded even with 2800 guests on board.

We were in cabin 7221 on deck 7 on the hump nice position near glass lifts, very comfy king size bed with over bed cupboards worth taking some canvas boxes 280mm cube to put bits in easier to get out. Wardrobe with hanging space plus half rail for slacks etc. 5 drawer chest draws not very deep, a desk with two power points European round two pin and American flat pin style. 32" TV and nice to see on a ship Kettle with tea and coffee, fully stocked drinks cooler (Extra charge even if on drinks package). Cabin was spotless bathroom had super shower with curved glass doors plenty on toiletries and lots of storage space. Lighting was good in cabin.

Food - we eat in MDR on select dinning however we meet up with some nice people so we all dinned together each night on same table with same staff, food was very good read a report steaks were not good they were for me had superb T bone one night and Elephant Shank another. Great menu to chose from. Had first lunch at Bistro on 5 nice not crowded now 7$ charge. We also eat in Qsine what a gem if you not tried it do great fun had spring roll yes served in a spring set the tone. We also tried the Tuscan Grille had best fillet steak I have ever eaten worth the extra just for that staff were great as they were in all the restaurants but must single out Fatima from Turkey she was a joy to behold always smiling and such a nice girl a credit to Celebrity worth asking we got 2 for 1 at both places. Ocean-view Cafe had great choice of food but was very busy at peek times mainly for lunch on sea days, job to get a table at times. My main gripe Cafe al Bacio super place to enjoy a coffee and cake if you could get a seat, people just used it as a reading room and would sit at the tables for hours on end, Celebrity you need to sort this out please.
