This was my first cruise my wife and I had ever been on, so we didn't really have any expectations when we were boarding. I was very impressed with how huge the ship was and all the things to do during the sea days. We were really never board, really enjoyed the trivia contests and other small games, and the piano bar was simply the BEST! I was shocked at how few people were there, sometimes it was just my wife and I getting to request all the songs we wanted, tons of fun!

The food was pretty disappointing, especially the normal everyday food at dinner, like the steak and chicken dishes, they were virtually inedible. The specials were better, but even then, I think they could do much better. We met multiple couples who have been a lots of cruises on the Pride and they said this was the worst food they have had, so perhaps the ship was having an off week or something. Also, do not even bother going to the "high tea" afternoon they have during sea days, it was horrible and a complete waste of time. You only got one cup of tea and by the time the mediocre tea cakes came around the tea was gone or cold by then, and you didn't get any more.

Cabin Review

The cabin was quite nice, more than enough room for my wife and I and the balcony was plenty large. However, we were lucky to not have many smokers around, but if you do I can see how you wouldn't be able to use it much.
