Me and my daughter (47 & 16) decided to take kind of last min cruise. Took the bus from Providence RI to N.Y. (recomended), even did it the same day and arrived in plenty of time!! I was very worried, but for nothing. The one difference I noticed by going out of New York (two times) and Florida (multiple tmes) on all my other cruises, is Northerner's (I live in Rhode Island) are more demanding, and not as fun as southern people on crusies. So right there my two N.Y. based trips were the least fun of all my cruises. This is of NO FAULT of Carnival. They try to make it fun, but most of the people complain about nothing and are way to uptight!!

With that being said, my room stewart (I always forget names) was REALLY good! Always remembered our names and was very nice and was there for whatever I needed!! Rooms were always clean and tons of storage space. Remember to bring powercords so you can plug in multiple cell phones or charge cameras etc.... The one plug is not enough.

The ship was clean, the food was good, I admit all the food was not five star all the time, but what I don't like, someone else would love!! One time in the breakfast buffet, the scrambled eggs were uneditable. Just one morning. I started getting over easy eggs at the omelet station! I did find some of the dinner selections not so great, but that is due to personal preference and nothing else!! But there is always something somewhere that was good to eat.
