Let me start by saying that this was my first cruise and it has soured me to ever doing one again! My wife and I travel allot and we always stay at a resort but we thought we would give this a try and I was disappointed. Let me start with the positive stuff so I don't sound so negative because there was some very positive points to the trip, First when you start the boarding process and you see all of the people you think this will take forever but it did not..The same for the the process of getting off the ship. We took the meal plan and all of the restaurants we ate in we very good. Overall the staff was very friendly but we did notice the difference in staff if they were leaving there contract or just starting. Maltings bar was very good the bartenders there were very nice. The trip was very smooth except for the waves because of the hurricane but that was not the ships fault. The program to make sure your hands are sanitized was excellent. Our cabin was nice except for the fact that the toilet kept overflowing we called but got no response. The shower was bigger than I thought it would be. The show Rock of Ages was very good. Here is the part where I sound like a crybaby but if it helps someone else it is worth it. First the ship had over 4000 people on it that is way to many people. There needs to be a adults only floors mt wife and I were between two cabins that had screaming kids in them I understand and respect parents that want to include their kids but there also needs to be more adult only areas. The pool is way to small I did not even get to dip my toe in it. All of the hot tubs were filled with kids except the one. The decks are full of chair lounges and you are like a sardine when you sit on deck. I asked to be contacted by the spy to set up a treatment and they never did. The second biggest thing next to the screaming children is the fees that are attached to everything. The gratuity charge that is charged to everything is a joke and I am not talking about the wait staff gratuity. I am talking about the charge that you had if you got a bottle of water. Then the fact if you sat in the casino and were there for hours that you could not even have a free soda. So if you think you will be saving money by taking a cruise you might want to sit back and rethink it. I have stayed in some 5 star resorts for what I paid in the end for this cruise. I hope this helps someone if they read it.
