This is the second cruise I have been on, the first being a Caribbean cruise on Royal Caribbean. I liked RC much better. Here are the things I didn't like on Norwegian that RC has them beat: the beds were so hard and uncomfortable, the cabin walls were very thin (we could hear the people in the cabin next to us talking, kids crying, the couple across the hall fighting, the crew working all hours of the night and morning on the other side of the wall of our cabin), the Garden Cafe buffet was mediocre, the food in Venetian and Aqua was better but wasn't always available when we wanted, the food in blue Lagoon was better than the buffet but the service was terrible (they had people working there who didn't speak english and didn't understand when we asked to split a dessert, instead my husband got the dessert and no entree, we also got our courses one right after the other, and sometimes at the same time), we were also confused when we first got there about what to do after we finished eating-we weren't sure if we had something to sign or if we could just leave, so we sat there and waited a while and no one ever came over again to see if we needed something else, so we ended up just leaving, the pool and hot tubs were always packed, it was hard to find two deck chairs together, people would lay stuff out on them to claim them and then leave for half the day (despite signs all over that said no reserving of chairs, but no crew members enforced this rule), all the sports court activities were always packed, there were kids literally running all over the ship, and the only really good show was the comedian. We didn't try any of the specialty dining except the sushi bar, which took a long time, but was good.

Overall, the ship wasn't as good a Royal Caribbean, but Bermuda was beautiful and it was nice to be there for 3 days and come and go as we wanted. I probably wouldn't do it again though. I would go with another cruise line for our next cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabin was nice in itself, but bed was uncomfortable and walls were very thin.
