We did back to back on Vision of the Seas. We had totally different experiences on each cruise. Check in at the pier was quick & easy. People very friendly, smiles were genuine. Went right to Windjammer & meet by a manager Alex who was great-welcoming &attentive. Our cabin ( on first cruise) was dirty when we arrived. But was corrected. Our stateroom attendant was apologetic & was super the remainder of the cruise. We had to change cabins for second cruise & our first attendant made that easy. Food on both cruises was good. Service on 1st cruise not up to what we expect from RCCL but was extraordinary the second cruise. Was unhappily surprised to find that shampoo is no longer supplied...how cheap. Loved Chops Grill- excellent food & service. We did not take shore excursions offered by Royal. Many families on these cruises...kids were often unsupervised- jumping off pool rails, from hot tubs. Wish pool attendants were more visible & enforced rules. We were upset with the activity director's over the top/crossing the line antics at many activities-taking silly & at times risqué to downright raunchy & filthy. His presence will keep us off particular ships! There was no information given For consecutive cruisers so that was confusing and took too long. We only cruise Royal and are very loyal but These cruises fell short of what we have come to expect. But we have another cruise booked on Vision in the not too distance future. Captain Liz was excellent-personable, knowledgeable and kept passengers well informed
