This was my 4th cruise and my 2nd on RCCL. I have cruised Carnival and Disney as well. I enjoy all of the lines for different reasons and immensely enjoyed my first RCCL cruise on the Freedom.

Overall: The Enchantment was not at all what I had hoped it might be. It was run down and dilapidated at every turn. The whole cruise I could not escape the terrible smells which included that of raw sewage. I thought RCCL was supposed to be a notch above Carnival in every way, but I was wrong. The Carnival Glory puts this little boat to shame. The public restrooms smelled of stale urine and there was dirt and dust on all the floors indicating they had not been mopped in at least a month.

Embarkation: Arrived a little after 1:00 to find very little crowds and breezed through the terminal and onto the boat in 15 minutes.

Cabin Review

Had balcony room 7050 and felt it cramped with very little room to get around the bed. The bathroom vanity looked nice but there was an odor of sour wine emanating from the sink that got worse with each passing day. The toilet seat was broken. There was plenty of room for clothes and personal items. There were two US outlets and one European outlet at the desk. The balcony was a welcome addition and we enjoyed using it. The door to the balcony never locked as the handle was broken, I would have disliked that if I had children in my party. The TV service was laughable. Only 10 English channels max and most not interesting at all. Only cartoon network for kids.
