P&O cost cutting is becoming more and more evident.

Our cruise to Iceland in perfect cruising weather and unbelievably calm seas barely averaged a speed of 12kts. We cruised all the way back at 11 kts until we slowed to 9 kts for a while. Eventually did 12.6 kts when in the channel but I didn't look after that. There were other cost cutting measures too, only one speaker who spoke every sea day ( 6 out of 11 ) on the same old subject - Concorde. Daytime entertainment boring, too many badly disguised sales pitches. On sea days when there is no prospect of warmth and sunshine P&O must simply do better and provide some variety.

Evening entertainment varied from brilliant (comedian) to dire (pick your own)

Cabin Review
