Traveled with children

Although many of us were first time cruisers our parents who are avid cruisers coordinated the Carnival cruise for their four children, their spouses and eight grandchildren. This ship was perfect for our family of 18. Children ranged in age from 3-16. I believe there were over 700 children on the ship during our trip! Each child made a new friend.

Several of us stayed overnight in a nearby Jacksonville hotel (Springhill Suites) and parked there, then were transported to the ship for embarkation. It was stress free. I'd do that again in a heart beat.

The Faster to the Fun was definitely worth the price if you can get it. Getting on board and off ship early was a huge benefit, especially if you have to drive home on the last day and the cost is $50 per room (not per person). Only about 50 rooms have the opportunity for this perk. We went right to our room, then right to lunch. No lines on ship.

Cabin Review

Cabin was modest but very clean.
