So I'm sure many will disagree with this review, especially all those Gold and Platinum status members I encountered, but this cruise was not pleasurable. First the positive. The service was good and the employees I encountered were helpful. For an older ship it was clean and had been maintained well.

The stop in Key West was fun but too short, and the stop in Cozumel let's just say could be avoided. If you've never been there it's great for snorkeling and scuba diving, but beyond that it's a place created by the cruise industry to have some where to go. We were with family, several of whom could not do a water excursion, so we opted for a tour of the island. Let's just say there's not much to see except for tourist traps. If you want to see Mexico I would recommend other destinations.

Overall my experience with cruising was not enjoyable. The ship was crowded. If you wanted to get into the hot tub without rubbing elbows with people you just met early morning was the best time. Same with the pool. Average describes the food, with ice cream available 24 hours a day, but good luck getting a salad at 4:00 pm. The evening meals were average as well. The prime rib and steak was the same you would encounter at Applebees or Outback.
