Sailed on Sea Princess end of May. This was our first ever cruise for my wife and I. We had a balcony Cabin on deck 11, and our cabin steward Ronnie was brillant. We would go for a walk or a coffee and return to find Ronnie had made our room spotless again, he made the bed so well you could bounce a coin on it, and two little chocolates as a final touch. The staff were absolutely amazing in their service and hospitality. The food in the Dining room was excellent and our waiters Ramir and Dejan were not only first class but very entertaining hosts. The food in Bistro for breakfast or lunch was great, with some extra theme lunch days. One lunch had Mexican with staff dressed up, another was Japanese, and we had a sweets and pastry day. These were all in addition to the normal offerings.
Loved the entertainment....The Beetle Boys, Stringed quartet , British Invasion, some Carribean boys who played music around the pool, a nice duet, and a great musician on a grand piano to welcome you through the atrium to Dinner. Plus there was the giant screen for movies under the stars. And there was two formal nights where the boys dressed up in their suits, and the girls got to show their bling.
The Sea Princess was great and we never felt any sea sickness, even though we apparently had some strong winds and 8 to 9'ft seas at one stage.
Great cabin with unconstructed view of water. Very comfortable Queen bed and pillows to die for. We had ample room for hanging our clothes. We managed to fit our three large ports under the bed, the room was tight but fine for the two of us. Satellite TV with movies and information from ships crew.
